A very interesting, detailed and useful book for anyone that is interested in alternative construction materials. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to my friends that would plan and think about having a house with or WITHOUT oconstruction workers. And I got it in one week, and still fascinated about this book. Great work for the author and you can feel that he is very passionate about this project by the very specific details about every project he described in this book.

when it came in the post i put it on the table for a few days until I had the chance to pick it up again. it took me practically no time to get through it and found so much of the simple detail easy to retain and understand. great resource

Nice book, well writen with a lot of comprehensive illustrations

This is a marvelous book, filled with useful information. On every page I find something that is relevant to my intended project.
My only concern is that I´m fairly certain that I´ll have to rebind it at some point, as it s going to opened hundreds of times.

The book is a good tool to build your straw house. Very good for self build enthusiast, as well informative for architects and builders.

An outstanding book, created with passion for details and an impressive depth of knowledge. A true 'must have' for the graphics alone - plus all the valuable knowledge.

15 years as a commercial craftsman with natural materials, this book indeed gives a fresh approach at straw bale building. Lot's of info for point foundations and for those who are interested to implement the technique in cold climates, although lot's of these details can be applied in warmer climates as well.
The feeling of the paper is unique and the introduction from the writer has a human approach.
You can understand that this book is made with passion and experienced background.
